Description
Pumping units are made up of an internal combustion engine and pump. The advantage of this unit is that it can operate without consuming electrical energy. Pumping units are designed for pumping liquids (especially water) in places where:
-electricity is unavailable - in agriculture, irrigation, fish farming, water works, work in flooded areas to pump away water, and so on.
-it is necessary to pump even during an electricity outage
-emergency pumps in department stores, banks, industrial premises, healthcare equipment
-drinking water pumps in hospitals, living accommodation, civil defence buildings during military or terrorist threats.
Pumping units are equipped with control according to the chosen usage and the required level of comfort from manually established operating parameters through to automatic start-up and output regulation for variable operations.
The unit is a compact whole made up of an engine and a propelling machine on a steel-frame base. It is equipped with the necessary accessories for the functioning of the engine and the pump and a fuel tank with a capacity of 200 - 500l of engine diesel (standard). At the customer's request the unit can be built on an outboard chassis for transport along public highways.
The pumping units (assigned engine and propelling machine according to operational characteristics) range from 63kW to 250kW during operating revolutions of 1200 - 1800 per minute. Other revolution ranges can be chosen with an integrated gearbox.
