Description
Illuminated Keyboards are designed either by a high quality illuminated short travel switch or by the means of the Electro luminescent lamp or with Duraswitch® technolgy.
Short travel keys increases the overall height of the keyboard but offer a crisp feel, where as the EL lamp reduces the height of keyboard but requires an additonal invertor circuit.
For keyboards with illumination, we uses Talamanic, Taiwan make illuminated keys in Red, Green and Yellow colours. EL lamps are ideal for uniform and reflection free backlighting of displays. Thin and border less lamps are commonly used for small instruments. The applications are versatile, chiefly in search and survey instruments, pagers, medical electronic equipments, mobile phones and others.
